Pollux is Alex D’hondt’s latest Progressive dance project.
Born in Belgium Alex D’hondt aka Greg Standford is a belgian producer with more then 25 years of experience in dance music.

He started his musical carreer in 1989 with his first release on the legendary Belgian New Beat label TARGET records. Soon more releases followed on labels such as Indisc, Bonzai records, Bomb Trexx, Yellow Cab, Sony, Arcade, Mostiko and Slammin’ Vinyl USA and projects such as White Widow, Cube, Greg Standford …

After a long break of other professional pursuits it was time for a come-back in a totally changed music industry landscape, he decided the time was right to start his own record label as Castor recordings was born.

Their brand new “sound – style” is coming your way now, the future looks bright !

Alain Faber started DJ’ing in 1988, at the age of 16. After a few years, he was asked to play in Prestige in Antwerp. His first major club to perform his residency was Zillion. In 1997 he opened the club and was responsible for what people, until this day, call “the Zillion sound”.

In 1999 he teamed up with Mike Thompson as they were asked to open the second room in the techno venue Cherrymoon, called Foyer. In that cosy club they became utterly famous with their recognizable house sound.
It was around that time that Alain Faber ran into his lost friend Greg Standford (Pollux). Immediately, they found each other in producing records.

Today, together with Pollux, he’s one of the founders of Castor Recordings. Bringing you the finest progressive house, made in Belgium. As a DJ, you can find him on festivals and clubs all over Belgium and abroad.

JÆGHER is the Melodic House project from Belgian dj/ producer “Cekezz”.
Cekezz started DJ-ing (and a little bit of producing) for over 20 years now.
He has allready releases on PunkID records.

Leach aka Steven Sterk was born on April, 9th 1979 in Belgium.
At a very young age he was influenced by his parents’ interest in music, his father spinned several summers in a small club
at the beach and his mother played the piano. For his 10th birthday he got a keyboard, that’s when the vibe bit him and would never let go.
A few years later he started experimenting with computers and music production software (Fasttracker/FL Studio).
His baby steps in electronic music. Over the years his style has changed but he is always looking for a melodic vibe. You may expect a blend of Progressive,
Deep, Tech & Minimal.
About 7 years ago Leach started to make short films and composes the soundtracks for those films. Less and less electronic
releases will come up, but now and then there will be a new track available in the download stores.

EQ-Noxx is a project from the Belgian DJ/Producer Peter Verhoeven.
Peter played at several local clubs in Belgium and behind the scenes he is producing Progressive House / Trance.

After a few years of experiments his work evolved and he’s ready to release some great dance stuff.
His first record “Secrets” on Castor Recordings is a track with some lounge influences, a great atmosphere,
it’s the perfect Summer Feeling Track. A guaranteed floor filler.

He’s been influenced by musical icons such as Sasha, Richie Hawtin, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold and Moby,
and is tryin’ to create his own unique sound.

Moodtronic is a project and the creation of a music addict for whom music is a key element in his life. It’s a unique vision on electronic music through a wide spectrum of styles, sounds and moods.
Through the years he gathered experiences by playing in clubs like : Cafe D’Anvers, Fuse, Club Vaag, Ilusion and festivals like Extrema Noir, Suikerrock and Draaimolen (NL), and now he’s ready for the next challenge, ready to put out his first releases, a new twist in his continuous search for creativity with music and sounds..

Born to Belgian Parents in 1984, Avenue6 spent his younger years soaking up all sorts of musical influences.
It was the diversity of these influences, from blues and soul to disco, rock and early house music, that solidified Avenue6’s dedication to representing this spectrum of musical styles.
Before the dawn of the new millennium, he got his first turntables.

His passion for DJing conquered his hometown, and the last days of the 90’s saw Avenue6 spinning beats at Arenchi club.
After years of DJ-ing in different Belgian clubs he was catapulted into the Belgian Ultratop dance with his first hit “Why Don’t You Love Me”, released on the Belgian Label N.E.W.S. records, based in Gent. This was an immediate Club Banger, Ultratop Dance; 2 weeks #1, national and international compilations; Ministry Of Sound, Serious Beats, Na Balada,…
His creative evolution through the rest of the years yielded a string of club hits, under different aliases.

At the age of 12, Biool was focussed on doing expressive things with music. In 1997, at the age of 18, he stood behind the decks in local clubs and bars. At his 19, Biool was already playing at different locations in Belgium even as his residency at Xtra in Lloret De Mar (Spain). He launched his carreer in the world of House, Tech & Deep House, Techno, Progressive, Indie dance, … Floating around different locations, he was playing on a weekly basis in afterclubs (=hot in the 00’s) like Insane, Le Dimanche, Creamm, etc!
Beside having residencies (for example Riva well known as Boccaccio), he played at almost every club or concept in Belgium, Name it; he went there! He was also a Tech Nicals and KetaLoco member. Along the side of these guys he made his way to festivals like Tomorrowland, … He played at a lot of parties, reunions and festivals with highlights as Disco Dasco, The Dansant, The city Parade Mainstage etc. He also did some guestsets abroad, for example at Il Destino Ibiza, Levels Bangkok, … He’s the creator of the Wicked parties, PhantaZia, Air Force One, Retropolis, etc!In a couple of months you may expect his first record, we are already excited!

Franco Lima is the Melodic House project from Belgian producer Frank Lievens. Frank started producing Techno and Melodic House music somewhere in 2018.
He has allready releases on Am strand and Avaken records. Wide awake will be his first release on Castor recordings.
He got influenced by musical icons as tale of us, Stephan Bodzin, Adam Beyer, Carl Cox.
